About Me
The words, "In the midst of...", begins the description of a set of circumstances. This could be anything from bitter pain and discomfort ... to confusion and disillusionment ... to realized joy and happiness. They are also words that characterize what drove me to begin this work. To join others in the midst of their challenges (whether emotional, mental, or circumstantial), and seek to know their unique story and identify ways in which I can provide support and encourage growth.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Oklahoma specializing in children, adolescent, and family therapy. Currently, I am in private practice as well as a partnering therapist with The HALO Project, based in OKC.
For over a decade, my training and experience has been with children, adults, and families facing a wide variety of challenges including trauma, anxiety, family conflict, depression, grief/loss, life stressors, behavioral issues, and others.
My educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Communications from Judson University in Elgin, IL (2007) and a Masters Degree in Social Work from University of Illinois at Chicago's Jane Addams College of Social Work (2011).
