Story Group OKC 2025
I am offering story groups for up to 6 participants. Experiences will include the following:
- 5-6 hours of teaching that offer an invitation to look deeper at the impact of heartache and harm within family of origin stories.
- Story group sessions that allow for engaging stories with one another.
- Pre-work instructions and guidance on story writing process.
What is Story Work?
Story Work involves the profound journey of exploring particular individual narrative moments of one’s life in order to identify themes, patterns, or roles that have been established in our family of origin.
The inevitability of heartache...of loss...of searching...of shame...of overcoming…have written a complex story in which you embody in your intimate understanding of who you are. It is an ever-unfolding plot line with complexity in each chapter.
As one delves into the narratives of their life, they are invited to begin recognizing how elements of both beauty and heartache have been formed in the very stories from where they have come. It’s in these places that God longs to enter and offer particular experiences of healing and hope.
